    She was born in Miura City, Kanagawa Prefecture. She currently maintains a studio in Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Moving from one peninsula to another, she creates her glass artworks in locations situated close to the sea. After graduating from the Tokyo Glass Art Institute and the Ezra Blow Glass School, she worked at Ushio Kobo before establishing her own independent studio in Izu in 2010. Her work is characterized by its narrative quality, achieved through the masterful application of techniques such as masking and sandblasting.
