Julie Terestman is an ever-evolving, ever-growing ceramist. Her initial works were primarily functional and ornate, works rich with both theater and various historical references. Over the years, however, she's developed another philosophy towards art.

Now, ornamentation takes a pause in her work. She exercises minimalism in design, with serene colors and simple forms serving as the pillars of her current techniques.

This evolution comes through Terestman's deep commitment to Zen Buddhism and meditation, allowing her to produce pieces with a quiet, yet strong presence.
