"MonoHanako"
Hanako Nakazato's first solo exhibition of her pottery in New York City

July 12th - August 18th, 2007, at Bespoke Gallery, 547 West 27th Street, Sixth Floor, NY, NY (bw 10th and 11th Avenues)
Opening reception for the artist: Thursday, July 12th, 6-8pm (Talk between the artist and writer Harris Salat at 7 pm)
Hanako Nakazato, the young, 14th generation pottery artist from Japan, left the United States this past January to return to her hometown in Japan, Karatsu, where she founded her studio and continues to create forward-thinking and distinctive pottery. It has been two years since Sara Japanese Pottery's Karatsu Exhibition in New York. We are now presenting Hanako's new and unique creations, which reflect her skill and individuality, in various table settings at Bespoke Gallery, a gallery representing emerging artists. After a series of prominent exhibits of Hanako's work this year in Japan, Hanako will soon return to New York State an even more accomplished artisan.
